Chinese fried rice is a healthy option ,it is loaded with lots of exciting flavors. Its quick and easy to make.


Step by Step Methods

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl soak rice for 15 to 20 mints.

  • step 2

    After 30 mints rinse the rice very well at least thrice a time to get rid of the starch.(if you using old basmati rice soak for only 10 to 20 mints

    Now in a large pan add 1 liter water and bring it to a boil ,when the water begin to boil add soak rise in to the boiling water also add oil and salt to the water ,continue to cook on medium high heat .

    Keep checking don’t over cook .Quickly drain the rice to a colander. Cool it completely.

    When the rice is cook , chopped all the veggies .

  • step 6

    Heat 3 tbsp. oil in a wok ,add garlic and sauté it for 30 second ,till you get aroma.

    Now add all chopped veggies and green chilies ,fry veggies for 3 to 4 mints don’t over cook .

    At this stage add add cooled rice ,soya sauce , vinegar, black pepper, salt , chicken powder ,now mix it gently for 3 to 4 minutes ,taste it add more sauce and spices if needed .

  • step 9

    Remember this process should happen on the height flame other wise the moisture from the vegetables can make the rice mushy. Garnish veg fried rice with spring onion
