Matcha, Lime, and Chocolate Tiramisu is a unique and delicious twist on the classic Italian dessert. This recipe features layers of ladyfingers soaked in matcha and lime juice, and then layered with a creamy mixture of mascarpone cheese, whipped cream, and white chocolate. The dish is finished with a sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings for added richness and texture. Matcha is a Japanese green tea powder that is known for its high antioxidant content, while lime provides a refreshing burst of citrus flavor. While this dish may be high in calories and fat, it also provides some nutritional benefits from the matcha and lime juice. This recipe is not specific to any particular region, but rather a creative fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors.

If you go to Japan, you’ll see “Green Sweets” such as sage- green ice cream forest green cakes and mint green latte. They’re all flavored with Matcha green tea, which has been part of our culinary tradition since 800 AD.
