Mayonnaise is made of many ways with egg yolks olive oil vinegar and especially mustard paste.This sauce is used of fish entrees and salad and vegetables
Place the egg into a blender with the egg yolks salt mustard and black pepper blend for 1 mintue add the oil in a thin stream with the blender running Take care not to add too much oil at once or the mayonnaise will become too watery when the mayonnaise begins to thicken slowly increase the amount of oil being added
When half the oil has been added add the lemon juice and 3 tbsp water blending continuously add the remaining oil when all the oil has been added pour in 3 tbsp of water and blend for 2 more minutes Store the mayonnaise in a clean bottle or jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 month
