Chicken Makhni is also known as Butter chicken and Murgh Makhni. This recipe is from the Indian Subcontinent . The main ingredient in this recipe is Butter and Tomatoes Cream also. It is full flavored dish that complements the chicken well chicken makhni served with bastmati rice naan and Bread also.


Step by Step Methods

  • Step No 1

    Heat cooking oil in a pan, add sliced onion and fry them in oil. Blend fried onion in a blender along with yogurt.

  • Step No 2

    Take another pan, add butter and 2 tbsp oil, heat till melt, add ginger & garlic paste, fry till it turn into golden. Now add chicken pieces when chicken turn white, add black pepper powder, salt, red chili, turmeric, & yogurt mixture (Prepared in Step One). Mix fluently & cover with lid. Cook it on low flame till the chicken get soft and tender, Butter appears on the surface. Garnish with coriander leaves, lemon, ginger slice. Ready to present.
