Hara means green and usually made with fresh herbs like coriander leaves (cilantro) and/or mint leaves and green chili peppers. This can be used as a marinade or as dipping chutney.


Step by Step Methods

  • Step No 1

    Remove and discard the cori-1 ander stems. Coarsely chop the leaves

  • Step No 2

    Place the coriander leaves, chili 2 peppers, garlic, ginger, cumin, coconut and water in a food processor and process to a paste.

  • Step No 3

    Transfer to a bowl. Stir in the 3 sugar, lime juice and salt. Use immediately or refrigerate, covered, until ready to be used. This masala will keep for about 4 days in a wellsealed container in the refrigerator
